Working With text and images this week. I wanted to do something from scratch, my own image and a font i would manipulate in inDesign. I still think I’m in the development stage I’ve come up with a lot of possible ways. I’m just somewhat stuck but I believe it’ll work out in the end. I tried manipulating the color to stay subtle and blend in with the image. Ive done alot of brainstorming on this text and image. I messed around with the Olympus logo in illustrator at first, you can see in the one with the columns for some parts of the letters. Then i tried to to mess around in InDesign, and downloaded some fonts that would complement the image like a greek toned font. That is what i felt strong with the Lettering with the cracks in it, but the splattered one adds a faded sense on the tones paper which i also like.
