3-D Design

We worked with physical 3-D objects made from scratch with Bristol. We first created an octahedron. It was an intriguing project, not one I was particularly fond of. Especially with all the cutting and taping/ gluing, which was pretty much the whole project. I first sketched out designs on a piece of paper. I also created a prototype of the octahedron to test gluing, timing, and seeing if the layout was correct. When completing the final one I cut out the primary shapes first, then drew the designs on the bristol paper and finally cut out the designs. The most difficult task was the gluing, mainly because it took a good amount of time to complete. Here are some step by step photos I took.
